Crossways Farm & Cottages is located on the B3227 South Molton
to Great Torrington Road and has easy access onto the A377
Barnstaple to Exeter Road. The village of Atherington is 1 mile
away and includes a village shop and church, the local public house can be found just down the road in Umberleigh.
Further facilities can be found at Barnstaple, 8 miles to the north,
which is the commercial centre for North Devon including
shopping, cinema, supermarkets, leisure centre, and famous for its Victorian Pannier

There are many facilities in the area including the oldest golf course in England at Westward Ho!. The
coast is renowned for its excellent surfing beaches at
Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde. The picturesque former
fishing village of Lynton & Lynmouth
with its Venicular railway
and dramatic sea cliffs; and Clovelly with its untouched cobbled
and thatched cottages are both within easy reach.
To the east is Exmoor National Park which is a 15 minute drive and is extremely
popular with walkers, cyclists and horse riders. To
the south is Dartmoor National Park which is easily accessible.
Popular tourist attractions in North Devon include the Royal
Horticultural Society gardens of Rosemoor at Great Torrington,
Watermouth Castle, the Combe Martin Dinosaur & Wildlife Park, Exmoor Zoo and the Tunnels at Ilfracombe; along with the theme

road (A361) located at South Molton 10 miles away giving mainly
dual carriageway access to the M5 motorway at Junction 27.
